Creating A Sustainable Agriculture Revolution!
Nomad’s philosophy is simple – by creating sustainable projects through agriculture and micro-finance, we can fund our own programs and services, thus drastically reducing the cycle of reliance on grants and foreign aid.
By teaching the communities we serve in Kenya how to farm in modern times, we educate and empower our community to become self-sufficient. Nomad creates its own self-sufficiency, which allows us to re-invest and grow without on going reliance on outside funding.
To date Nomad has employed hundreds of men and women, mostly through farming initiatives. Predominately Nomad hires HIV/AIDS women in our local area, to assist with both fish farming and maintaining our fields and crops on our 5 acres of land.
Nomad feels strongly that there is a critical link between investing in women and achieving sustainable goals. Women are the life-line for creating successful communities!
