We Need Your Help!
This picture is of co-founder Janette Hofmann in the hospital with our sweet girl Kalacha. Nomad met her when she was just 12 years old and the twins parents sponsored her and put her through secondary school. It was her second day after graduation when she collapsed walking back home to Kibwezi.
Janette and volunteer Sharon Mc’Neil were there to take care of her. She had full blown AIDS. When they met up with Kalacha, she was sitting under a tree next to a fresh grave, her sisters, who had died 6 months earlier. Sharon and Janette gave Kalacha her last meal and she passed away the next day. She fulfilled her dream of graduating secondary school and was happy till the end.
You can be that change in a young girl or boys life. By giving them hope, an education and a home through Nomad Charities. Many of you don’t have money and we so get that. Other ways to give are to volunteer, donate cell phone & laptops, have your school sponsor a child in need, donate clothing……… it never ends other than the extra luggage fees!
